Treasurer's report. "Balloon" payment w/ balance. See their report directly. Brick House Proposal. Jeff Aho worked with Jeff Singleton to consider renting. In the process they thought it made more sense to buy the building for the Youth Center, Community Computer Center, and office space. Tower room / video control room will be office space. Studio will be youth center. Current office is BH office. Upstairs boiler room will be MCCI entrance. Current MCCI/MR office stays as-is. Rent to MCCI would be $200-$400 neg. BH wants to buy asap. Purchase will allow diversification of grant writing. At the moment BH is spending much money on office rental with no public benefit. Purchase of the building will open up teen cetner etc for same or less money. BH will rehabilitate the building and do ADA work. Jeff & Jeff thin it's the best plan for right now... the best shot at getting the building back in use. MCCI board member will be on BH board and be a member of the Facility Oversite Committee. Finance Committee. Jeff gave his report. See his report directly. Montague Reporter report. David said they were breaking even after 3 months. Jeff Singleton disagreed. Mary Drew commented that they were doing an excellent job. SDrammd(?) said excellent job, and boxes were coming sono. Other: Motion to go into Executove Session withdrawn. Comments went around room.
