We are behind on a lot of our bills to MCCI, very behind on some of them. But we are actually turning the corner on our ability to make ends meet, and I would be happy to discuss a realistic payment schedule to catch up on back payments. It is also interesting to note, based on a quick budget outline Jeff and Jean Hebden and I put together last month, that the Reporter is presently bringing in around $50,000 annually: nearly as much as MCCI's old contract assignment. As the Reporter grows, the need to have a stable board carefully looking over our finances will grown as well. If we get the assignment back someday, and if Mike Saari's dreams of getting a low power radio station for Montague come true (see Saturday's Recorder front page) we could have a great little media center for Montague. Keep the Board together! and keep up the good work. -dd
