Last 4 months paid $400/mo + phones. Makes as much as GCTV and more citizen involvement. About 290 subs by mail, 30 states, 2 international. 3 paper routes, looking at 4th. Almost all loans paid off. Respect is up in town. Mike L: Get info on whether agreement language mentioned $2000 loan or grant. 5. Mike L will chair ByLaw Sub-Committee, Mik and Barb join. To meet soon. Mike L: Move to nominate Mike Farrick to board. 2nded. Unanimous. Mary D: Move to make Mike F clerk. 2nded and unanimous. Mike L: Move to accept Jeff S resignation. 2nded and unanimous. Mary D: Move to accept Leslie Brown's resignation. 2nded and unanimous. Mike F: 9 years involved in Montague video. Did selectboard meetings for a long time. He is a link to the past. Mike L: link to past is not bad. 6. Jeff M: Due to recent events we should stress community involvement. Giving us assignment benefits Montague. Mike L: That's our strength. Local board can focus on Montague. Jeff M: get someone from comcast to come and speak to selectboard about local control. 7. Concert: Jeff M will get receipts and money in to Veronica. Total report will be available at next meeting pending this information. What did we learn? Concert started too early, bands too young, not enough promotion and help, more info about bands on posters, less focus on "MCTV", better artwork on posters. All agreed that another concert would be good. Mike L: yeah, but sometime in 2005, after the assignment process is done and we know what is up. Mike Naughton request: Mike L to follow-up as well. Mik and David have both replied with info. Old Home Days: MR and MCTV to table. TV/VCR for parade tape. Perhaps bring camera as well. 8. Meeting clsoed at 9:10
