I was also tasked with furthering the concept of a contest for a short promotional video on Montague.

I met with Suzanne LoManto who, not surprisingly, was very interested in being involved.  She asked to be invited to our next meeting.  I invited her but it would be good to have someone else invite her and offer the date and time.  (remember I am in Costa Rica 1/1-1/22)

In Suzanne's brainstorming she covered many areas and I'll touch on some.  

- have the contest spring or early summer for good weather to film with/also when summer begins no one pays attention
- no more than 2 minute length (people won't watch any longer)
- if there is one prize she could predict which of the few "professional" film makers would win.  Middle class, white perspective
- young people will shoot with their phones/skate park go-pro etc.
- use a standardized formate for start and credits
- see if Brick house is interested
