Christmas in July! River Culture Ice Cream Ride!
Christmas in July is a fun event that took place on Saturday the 27th at Unity Park. The evening’s festivities were kicked off by a boat parade, with boats fantastically lit up with bright lights, and of course accompanied by Santa himself! Shortly after the boats, the crowd was dazzled by an amazing fireworks display. If you missed the fun, don’t worry! MCTV was at the scene capturing every moment, keep an eye on our website MontagueTV.org because the video will be available shortly!
That same weekend, River Culture had their 4th annual Ice Cream Ride. Cyclists of all ages showed up at Unity Park to participate in the bike ride to support River Culture. Afterwards, participants were treated to music, food, and of course ice cream! It was a beautiful and fun day, the video will be available soon at MontagueTV.org.
There’s still time to sign up for MCTV’s 120 Second Film Festival! The festival is open to all Montague residents, we can’t wait to see what our creative community comes up with! Winners will receive a cash prize, be interviewed on the River, and have their film screened at the Shea Theater! Check our MontagueTV.org to register and for contest rules and details.
MCTV is here to show off how interesting and unique our community is, and we need your help! Let us know if there’s something going on in our town that you think should be captured and preserved. We’d also like to remind you that we offer free training on all the equipment you need to start making videos of your own!
