Midsummer Update from MCTV

Hello from hot and sticky Montague! We are knee-deep in production and editing of a variety of programs we're sure you will enjoy.

Enjoy a unique opportunity to learn about the early history of Wendell from author and history enthusiast Pamela Richardson. The history of Wendell has only been a footnote in the story of other area towns. After tens years of research and discovery of historical notes by now-passed historian and geneologist Thomas Sawin, Pam decided it was time to craft a book about all that she had learned.  The presentation at the Wendell Free Library is now available for viewing online both in our broadcast schedule and streaming. If you'd like to get a copy of the book you can contact Pam directly at 413-657-3621.

Now available for viewing is an interesting collection of videos produced by Turners Falls High School students this past year. Students have the opportunity to learn about the process of video production and create their own work in a class with teacher John Chappel. Currently we have five pieces up for viewing on the website- Stranger Danger, Dr Who, Mack & Alex Breakfast, The Dream and Hooping Mania.

Monday's Selectboard meetings from both Gill and Montague are now up for viewing for all interested in staying informed about the workings of our towns.

Something going on you think others would like to see? Get in touch to learn about getting a camera and capturing the moment! (413) 863-9200, infomontaguetv@gmail.com, or stop by 34 2nd Street in Turners between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. We'd love to work with you!
