Drone for Historical Archive 2022

Learn about drone technology and how it is used to create detailed digital replications of architecture in the recently uploaded video by Chris Clawson of MontagueArchive.org. In this 8 minute lesson, we see how the Montague Paper Mill may have looked in the year 1900. Chris Clawson is generous with his drone and invites his viewers to request his videographic assistance. MCTV should really take him up on that! What would you like to see captured by the drone?

MCTV has also uploaded the most recent Gill-Montague Regional School Committee Meeting, The Selectboard Meetings for both Gill and Montague and the Montague Finance Committee meeting. The recording of "Storypaloza", which took place at the Shea Theater February 18th, is up and ready for viewing. If you cant catch any of MCTV's videos on tv, then be sure to find them online! All MCTV videos are available on the MCTV Vimeo page, which can be found linked to the MCTV website, montaguetv.org, under the tab "Videos". All community members are welcome to submit their videos to be aired on Channel 17, as well as featured on the MCTV Vimeo page. MCTV is always available to assist in local video production as well. Cameras, tripods, and lighting equipment are available for checkout, and filming and editing assistance can be provided. MCTV is still looking for board members, so if you would like to stop in for a meeting, even just to check the vibe, email infomontaguetv@gmail.com for a link to the Zoom!

Something going on you think others would like to see? If you get in touch, we can show you how easy it is to use a camera and capture the moment.
