Day of Remembrance

A Commemoration of the 347 Anniversary of the massacre at Peskeompskut (Great Falls) was held on 5/19/2023, our Day of Remembrance. MCTV has recorded the speeches and stories told at the Discovery Center on that day. We also have a recording of the performance, Immigrant Voices, a showcase of song and dance from around the world, as well as footage from this year's Extravaganja at the Greenfield Fairgrounds, and Emily Monosson's Local Author talk at the Montague Center Library. You may find it while flipping through your basic cable. (We're channel 9!) Or you may watch it at any time of your liking on the MCTV Vimeo page. There you may also find any of the local town meetings, including this week's Selectboard Meeting from Montague and Gill, as well as the GMRSD Meeting! There's always something new to watch on MCTV! And if you have videos that you would like to put on TV or our Vimeo page, send them over, or if you need help, MCTV is always available to assist in local video production as well. Cameras, tripods, and lighting equipment are available for checkout, and filming and editing assistance can be provided.
