New Leaf Energy

Concerned citizens of Wendell, including David Stubblefield of the Wendell State Forest Alliance and members of the “No Assaultin’ Battery Storage” including Anna Gyorgy and Court Dorsey, call the community to join in their effort to stop the The New Leaf Energy Project which would install 780 new lithium batteries on 11 clear cut acres on what is now forested land in Wendell. Two of the projects have been completed already, and we are now facing the third. Their talk at the Wendell Meeting House on 10/24 was recorded and is available on MCTV’s Vimeo page along with both the Montague and Gill Selectboard Meetings.

All community members are welcome to submit their videos to be aired on Channel 9, as well as featured on the MCTV Vimeo page. If you have any ideas for films, MCTV is always available to assist in local video production as well. Cameras, tripods, and lighting equipment are available for checkout, and filming and editing assistance can be provided. And if you're looking for more ways to get involved, consider joining the MCTV Board! If you would like to stop in for a meeting, even just to check the vibe, email infomontaguetv@gmail.com for a link to the Zoom!
