New this week: Planter proposal & renewable resources
Local Harmony’s plan for two of the proposed Avenue A planters, two years after installation.
The Montague Planter Committee met on April 20th to discuss the possibility of professionally designed planters for Avenue A, as proposed by Local Harmony, a non-profit in Leverett. Horticulture students from Franklin County Technical School would install the planters. For more information or to donate to the project, please visit http://www.localharmony.org/#!turners-falls/pkrkf. A video of this meeting can be found on the MCTV website.
Also available for viewing this week is a Stop the Pipeline update from April 12th by Pat Hynes. This 22 minute program discusses legal updates about the pipeline as well as the need to invest in renewable energy resources in Massachusetts.
